The weather seemed unwilling to cooperate late last week as six-year-old Leela Ramakrishnan arrived at Four Freedoms Park for a Family Arts Workshop. But she and other children were ready for the program scheduled to take advantage of spring break – “a great opportunity for the community to come together,” said Nellie Chaban, the park’s Director of Education and Public Programs.
